Drilling reagent «ASDAPAC»

Polyanionic cellulose “ASDAPAC” is a widely used drilling fluid additive. It has a molecular structure similar to carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). However, it is considered superior in terms of filtration reduction, salt protection, breakage, and high temperature resistance. It can be used at temperatures up to 150°C.

“ASDAPAC” drilling fluid is used as an additive to drilling fluids. It is effective as a stabilizer for all types of water-based drilling fluids and helps to stabilize the walls of wells and reduce the solids of drilling fluids in shale drilling.

“ASDAPAC” has the ability to reduce the filtration speed. It forms a thin and elastic filter cake, reduces mud losses, maintains maximum annulus diameter and reduces flow resistance in the wellbore. Thermally stable and stable in highly mineralized environments (saturated solutions of sodium chloride and potassium chloride).

It is used as an additional or main raw material in the oil and gas industry or in other exploration processes such as horizontal directional drilling (HDD).
